Casual Kitchen was founded by chef Grant Mclellan, who started creating frozen meals from his modified garage, using homegrown produce, mainly for the elderly market. He soon realised there was a much wider audience for his nutritionally balanced, flavoursome offerings, such as Hand-me-down beef lasagne, Take My Time pulled lamb filo, and vego tagine. He outgrew his vege patch and has graduated to a CBD shop. There's a lunch bar with healthy, freshly made sandwiches and salads, as well as his frozen meals (dietaries are catered for, including low FODMAP).
