Anna Brick, sourdough baker extraordinaire, has now opened a new HQ for her company, Better Bread — Best Bakehouse in Pāpāmoa. Here you’ll find her full range of sourdough (such as soft oat, seeded, and olive and herb), along with focaccia and Turkish pide. “We’re about quality, from-scratch baking, and we champion sustainable and organic where possible — it’s a key value for us,” says Anna. “We serve Supreme coffee — having the best coffee in Pāpāmoa is a main focus, and we’ll always have warm and friendly service.” Anna explains they’re based in a very busy hub, so Best Bakehouse is designed for quick food and coffee pick ups (it has just 12 seats). Cabinet food will include fresh salads and sammies, her famous fig and rosemary scones, and cupcakes for the kids, plus an ever-changing range of treats, maybe raspberry chocolate brownie and spongecake.
