Looking After Each Other

It’s a very hard time for most businesses right now, so we applaud those thinking about the wider community

Tragically, being isolated at home is a very stressful and dangerous situation for far too many people in our community.

Family violence is expected to rise during lockdown. We’ve noticed a couple of local businesses acknowledging this: fashion mecca Sisters & Co is donating $20 from every full-price online purchase to Women’s Refuge and Pipe Master (plumbing, gas & drainage) are halving their labour rate by 50 per cent and contributing the other 50 to Women’s Refuge. It’s a very hard time for most businesses right now, so we applaud those thinking about the wider community. Let us know if you hear about any other stories like this and we will give them a shout out!
